I’m Just a dumb Miner – whats your excuse? Cornered by a contractor… (Swearing)
Bluntness is my strength in the office….
Today I went to the stores to pick up guide posts and was told now I had to raise a requisition to have it sent to the stores (we don’t have a computer out at our end let alone internet connection). So he sent me to the main office to ask “Any woman” to do it for me…
So I went into my supervisors – supervisors office and told him the story, he said ask a lady to do it… so I ask his supervisor ( a woman) to do it after telling her the back story to this point. She politely told me who she was, I said “I know, that’s why I am in here. Now we either go through all this bullshit every time I need to fix your roads, or I get an all access pass to the delineating equipment”
I got an all access pass to the signage shed and delineator which none of my supervisors have… so now… I get the jobs… which is ok, cause it takes 45 minutes to get to the infrastructure from the mining pit and back…
So everyone’s pissed a scumbag contractor is jibbing the system already…. except dad he seems proud…

So I walked into the office of the supervisor in the afternoon “Mate I’m fucked and hot put me on a truck”
“I can’t put you on a truck mate your tired”
I got to clean for 2 hours… and I got a room for the night before heading to a different city… My boss is so helpful.
